One of the toughest Polytones or Polymers you can purchase. Used in the marine industry for boats, basketball backboards, the playground industry and outdoor furniture. Not affected by weather, saltwater, sun, paint, stains or liquids. Everything just rinses off.

SportsMate Multicolored Polytone
Designed for use in the most extreme conditions.

SportsMate UV Stabilized Polymer
The same as above, but in a solid color. We stock Black and White.

Brazilian Ipe Ironwood
The clear choice for your wood SportsMate a wood so hard, you won’t believe it. So dense, it will sink if you drop it in a lake. The density of Ipe also minimizes the ability of fungus and mold to grow on it, making it the best choice for use with food products. Ipe has a Class A fire rating, which means it will burn about as well as a piece of concrete or steel.

Honduras Mahogany Hardwood
A great second choice for your wood SportsMate because of it’s lighter weight but high strength properties. A very durable hardwood rated by the US Forest Lab for over 50 years. This air or kiln dried hardwood, in our opinion, makes a better choice than the Rock Maple commonly used on butcher blocks.

Caution: The TailGate SportsMate may slip or slide if pushed or bumped. To prevent injury, do not step or stand on the board. To prevent sliding it is recommended that the IncrediGrip Mat be placed under your SportsMate. Do not leave the SportsMate in the bed of a moving truck unless secured.
